Minutes after being released from jail, on Friday, November 8th, the former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva did a persuasive speech against the Operation Car Wash and Judiciary Committee.
Lula was released under Federal Judge Danilo Pereira Junior’s determination. The decision was published at 4:15 pm, and the former president left the premises at 5:40 pm.
He mentioned “naughtiness” and “gutter” when referred to the Public Federal Ministry, Federal Police, Justice, and tax office. In his words, those sectors worked to criminalize the Left, the Worker’s party, and himself.
“People here are the reason I needed to resist to all those naughtiness and gutter that the black side of the Brazilian Estate did to me and with Brazilian society,” said the former president to the crowd on the site.
“The justice’s filthy side, the Ministry’s filthy side, the Federal’s Police filthy side, and Tax Office sector’s filthy side worked to incriminate the Left, the worker’s party and myself.”

The former president also spoke about the former judge Sergio Moro, nowadays Moro is the Justice Minister of Jair Bolsonaro Government and the prosecutor Deltan Dallagnol, Operation Car Wash coordinator in Curitiba.
